In-store sales

Sell at the counter with Square POS or manual payment while online checkout is disabled.

Turning on in-store mode

1. Click the in-store icon in the admin bar — the toggle shows when mode is active.
2. Open the storefront cart. Online Stripe checkout is disabled; in-store payment options appear.
3. Only products with the in-store channel enabled can be added in this mode.

Payment options

Square — send the cart total to your Square POS app for card payment. Manual payment — record cash or other payment and fulfill immediately. Configure Square under Integrations.

Completed in-store orders appear in Orders with the in-store channel and your configured in-store order prefix (Settings → General).

Receipts

Optionally collect the customer's email on the order success page to send an in-store sale receipt. Digital products are not sold in in-store mode.
